Fermented Soya Protein

In young animals, such as piglet 1-6 weeks of age normally have incomplete digestive enzyme, reduced immunity, low gastric acid, poor appetite and sensitive to many anti-nutritional factors. Young piglet requires feed ingredient that has highly palatability, easy to digest and low anti-nutritional factors

Soy Bean Meal (SBM) has good palatability, high digestible, high protein and Amino acid, which is more suitable for grower to older pigs. It also carries high content of anti-nutritional factor. However, soy bean meal may be not quite suitable for young animals. It often contain several anti-nutritional factors as follow:

  • Trypsin Inhibitor

  • Glycinine

  • β -conglycinine

  • Lectin (Hemagglutinin)

  • Oligosaccharide (α –galactosidose)

Fermentation Soya Protein is biotechnology processing fermentation of dehulled soy bean meal by Lactobacillus acidophilus. The process is the know-how biotechnology to digest protein structure to smaller molecular weight, increase efficiency digestion and absorption. It also breaks down and reduces antigens (allergens) or anti-nutrient substance by fermentation.
